The Model E Hydro-Trip Sub is installed in the tubing string below a hydraulically actuated tool and used to hydraulically set tools, such as hydraulic packers to provide a method of applying the tubing pressure required to activate the tool and then through continued pressure, active the Hydro Trip Sub.
