The Hay Pulley is the component of wireline tools for the wireline & slickline service. The Hay Pulley is used to control and manipulate the direction of the wireline from a horizontal positon to a vertical position and generally installed at the wellhead on the lubricator to reduce side pull force and to avoid lateral loading of the lubricator during heavy jarring operations.
The hay pulley is designed to withstand the load of Slickline wire and braided line, in addition to the wear and tear of life at the rig site. The Pulleys are opened by simple mechanism which allows easy installation of wire into Hay Pulley. The sheave pin has a fixture to accept a lightweight floor stand if required.
