PVB020W steel back POM coated boundary lubricating composite plain bearing shell is engineered with a steel back sintered bronze structure and POM coating. This split bearing design provides reliable performance as half bearing bushings and bearing shells for various industrial applications.
Material Structure
- POM layer: 0.3-0.5mm thickness
- Porous bronze layer: 0.2-0.3mm thickness
- Steel backing: 0.4-2.2mm thickness
- Copper plating: 0.008mm thickness

Mounting Recommendations
- Housing: Mounting bevel minimum 1.5mm × 15-45°
- Shaft material: Steel (hardened or untempered) with surface roughness ≤ Rz 4-6
- Shaft: Mounting bevel 5mm × 15° with rounded edges
- Use adequate force fitting mandrel; grease lubrication of outer surface may be necessary during mounting
- Adhesive should not contact the sliding surface during stick-in installation
