Product Overview
PVB020B steel back blue color POM bushing is a metal polymer composite plain bearing designed for boundary lubricating applications. This three-layer oilless bearing features the same material structure as other DX bearings and is also known as SF-2 boundary lubricating bearing, plain sliding bearing, or dry bushes.
Material Structure
Four-layer composite structure:
- POM with fillers surface layer
- Porous bronze intermediate layer
- Steel backing structural layer
- Copper plating or tin plating protective layer

Note: Oil deposits must be filled with grease before bearing assembly.

- Bushing inner diameter after installation: D9 to D10
- Shaft tolerance: h8
Mounting Guidelines
- Housing: Minimum mounting bevel 1.5 mm × 15-45°
- Shaft Material: Steel (hardened or untempered) with surface roughness ≤ Rz 4-6
- Shaft: Mounting bevel 5 mm × 15° with rounded edges
- Use adequate force fitting mandrel for installation
- Grease lubrication of outer surface may be necessary during mounting
- Adhesive should not contact the sliding surface during stick-in applications
