Product Description
The composition of 439 steel grade has been balanced so that it can be used at all temperatures maintain complete ferritic structure to avoid reduction of ductility after welding and resistant to intergranular corrosion. Similar ferritic stainless steels such as 430 and 434,
It has brittle martensite structure after welding and undisturbed intergranular corrosion after welding sensitivity of. 439 steel does not need to be annealed to recover the elongation after welding or maintain resistance to intergranular corrosion.
Where the temperature of 409 steel is too high, 439 can maintain good oxidation and corrosion resistance, so it can be used to manufacture many parts of automobile exhaust system and residential furnace primary heat exchange.
