5A02 aluminum pipe belongs to 5 series Al-Mg rust-proof aluminum, with good corrosion resistance, so it is suitable for using in the environment of marine. The magnesium content is low, but it has high plasticity and formability. Its strength can be improved by cold deformation.5A02 aluminum is a non-heat treated alloy, strengthened by cold working. Among them, under the condition of cold work hardening and semi-cold work hardening, the machinability of 5A02 aluminum alloy is good. Under the condition of annealing, the machinability is poor.
Weldability: 5A02 aluminum pipe has good weldability during resistance welding and atomic hydrogen welding. During argon arc welding, there is a tendency to form crystal cracks.
