Aluminium 3003 is an alloy of aluminum-manganese family, which is the most widely used rust-proof aluminum. This alloy can be easily cold worked to make tempers with high strength and low ductility. But like many other alloys, this alloy is a general purpose alloy which exhibits features such as moderate strength, excellent weldability, good formability, good corrosion resistance as well as good workability.
It is usually rolled as well as extruded but not forged. This alloy cannot be used in casting. There is the various application of this alloy bar and so it is everywhere in demand. Another thing to note about this alloy is that it is lightweight as well as soft and that it conducts heat as well as electricity.
