Product Display
6063 aluminum bar is one of the most popular extruded aluminum product grades. While high wear applications and critical support applications are not recommended for this grade, it is easily anodized which gives it excellent corrosion resistance.
6063 aluminum bar has a number of advantages, namely good electrical conductivity, good candidate for extrusions, and a high-quality surface finish. When heat-treated, it offers good corrosion resistance. It can also be anodized in the T5, T52, T32, T54, and T6 tempers. Its main disadvantage is that it has a poor strength-to-weight ratio.
