SUS316Ti stainless steel is austenitic stainless steel, SUS316Ti stainless steel is to add Ti to SUS316 steel to improve intergranular corrosion resistance. SUS316Ti stainless steel has strong resistance to intergranular corrosion,316Ti is essentially 316 with the addition of some titanium(Ti) to reduce the risk of losing corrosion resistance in the heat-affected zone. An alternative to prevent this, is to reduce the carbon(C) level, which results in the grade 316L.
