General description
In response to the characteristics of heat sensitivity, poor drying characteristics, low softening point, or strong hygroscopicity with the materials in Traditional Chinese Medicine, foodstuff and chemicals, combined with foreign advanced technology and the actual demands of domestic and oversea customers, PSD Series Precision Pharmaceutical Spray Dryer is developed by our company as a new type of spray dryer.
The plant meets the technological requirements for rapidly transforming feed into powder in production, and the drying process is carried out in clean air.

4. Low in output: Model LPG-150 rotary spray dryer can process 50-60kg/h of raw material liquid.
Plant Features
- 1. The system adopts a jacketed air-cooling system on the wall and roof of the drying chamber to prevent the material from melting and depositing on the wall.
- 2. The inner wall of the drying chamber adopts an air rotary purge system to make the temperature of the inner wall reach 80 ℃ to eliminate or reduce the phenomenon of wall depositing, so that when the material stays on the wall, it will not get carbonized.
- 3.The tower body receiving system is equipped with a product pneumatic cooling system, IE, dehumidified air-cooling technology is used to prevent the product from agglomerating, softening and absorbing moisture, as facilitates product packaging.
- 4.The gas entering the tower is filtered through intermediate and high-efficiency filters. Moreover, the pipeline adopts full welding and arc transition, which is convenient for cleaning, sterilization, and disassembly, fully meeting GMP requirements.
- 5.The one-time cold air technology is used between the atomizer and the hot air distributor, that is, the top booster mechanism is adopted to prevent the material liquid from returning to the top and cool the atomizer.
- 6.It meets FDA or GMP production requirements. The air cleanliness of the parts in contact with the materials is up to 100,000 grade. It is easy to clean, and multiple operating parameters are automatically controlled to ensure stable product quality.
- 7.The configuration of advanced industrial control system guarantees a normal operation parameters as are not influenced by the artificial and external factors. It adopts PLC control and program control system screen display.
- The plant is equipped with a control system, which adopts PLC program to control the system loop; the touch screen animation displays the process flow, which is operable, and it can realize automatic fuzzy technology tracking and adjustment to the variable operation parameters; The frequency converter regulates the atomizer steadily and safely; the power regulator controls the intake air temperature with an accuracy of plus and minus 2°C, minimizing energy consumption; the inlet temperature and outlet temperature of the tower, and tower pressure can be accurately set and so on.
- All these make the spray drying cycle have comprehensive reliability and reproducibility. This is ensured by high-quality materials and components, instruments for maintenance and calibration and a series of safety devices.
- 8. The elbow from the main drying tower to the cyclone separator is made of a one-time forming 304 stainless steel smooth pipe to prevent material accumulation, and adopts a quick-assembling clamp connection to facilitate the discharge of sewage generated during cleaning. It is suitable for multiple production requirements.
