A 2V AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) battery is a type of rechargeable battery that uses AGM technology to store electrical energy. AGM batteries are commonly used in various applications, including backup power systems, renewable energy systems, electric vehicles, and marine applications.
The "2V" refers to the nominal voltage of the battery. AGM batteries are available in various voltage ratings, and a 2V AGM battery has a nominal voltage of 2 volts. However, it's important to note that a single 2V AGM battery may not be sufficient to power most devices or systems on its own. These batteries are typically used in combination with other batteries to create a battery bank that provides higher voltages or capacities.
AGM batteries are known for their sealed construction, which means they don't require maintenance such as adding water or checking electrolyte levels. The AGM technology uses a fiberglass mat soaked in electrolyte to separate the battery's positive and negative plates, enabling efficient charge and discharge cycles.
