The A36 carbon steel square bar is found in many structural, manufacturing, fabrication and repain applications, but also in ornamental ironwork and other aesthetic uses. Our 12L14 and 1215 carbon square bar offer superior machinability. Our 1018 carbon square bar is often found in machine mounts and fixtures. For the greatest strength, 1045 carbon square bar can be used for axles, gears, crankshafts and similar machinery parts.
