Advantages:
1000 series aluminum ,it contains a minimum of 99% aluminum with relatively no alloying additions.
1000 series aluminum is non-heat treatable, but this material exhibits high electrical and thermal conductivity, excellent corrosion resistance and excellent workability.
Applications:
Aluminum sheet or plate is used in various applications, including aerospace, military, transportation, etc. Aluminum sheet or plate is also used for tanks in many food industries, because some aluminum alloys become tougher at low temperatures.
