SURFADOL® 550D

Special properties

  • nonionic acetylenic diol defoamer
  • specifically for water-based systems
  • good substrate wetting
  • long-lasting, defect-free foam control, effective against microfoam
  • synergistic with conventional defoamers
  • silicone-free, non-toxic
  • contains no added alkylphenol ethoxylates (APEs)

Processing instructions

  • Mix well when use.
  • Added and mixed after other surfactants.
  • Pigments, fillers or other solid should be added after SURFADOL® 550D has been evenly mixed.

Package and storage

The standard package for this material is 180kg drums, 4 drums/pallet. It can also be supplied in IBCs and 20kg pails.
Keep containers tightly closed in a dry, cool, and well-ventilated place. The shelf life for this product is 48 months from the date of manufacture.
