What are pre-made pouches?
Pre-made pouches are made from combination layers of poly, foils and kraft papers, etc. It is easy to carry, space-save and perfect to provide the barrier for the product. We could design the layers depending on how they will be used. Moisture barriers keep your dry products dry and your wet products moist. Oxygen barriers prevent spoilage and extend the products shelf life. The air-tight seal protects a product from foreign substances. Gusset bag is also called four side seal bag. A side gusseted is a bag that has the folds (gusset) along both sides of the bag. Its side gusset allow for the bag to expand and stand upright when filled, and this is the reason why the gusset bag is widely used.

Comparing with the flat bottom bag which could stand up by itself, gusset bag seems that it cannot stand up because it is not equipped with the bottom gusset. However, the truth is that it can do that! When the gusset is fulfilled, the bottom part will be expanded and become something like the flat bottom gusset. For this reason, many people choose the gusset bag instead of the flat bottom bag. It could stand up by itself in some situation and cheaper than the flat bottom bag if the same volume.

Gusset bag is widely used for coffee packaging, pet food packaging, personal care packaging and flour packaging, etc. Usually it is equipped with valve, zipper and spout.
