Harmonic reducers, or harmonic gearboxes are mainly composed of four basic components: wave generator, flexible gear, flexible bearing, and rigid gear. Harmonic transmission reducer is a kind of flexible bearing with a wave generator to produce controllable elastic deformation of the flexible gear and it transforms the force by meshing with rigid teeth.

 
PRMCAS Harmonic Gear Reducers are characterized as the followings,

• High accuracy:  Multi-teeth meshing at the same time at two 180 degrees symmetrical positions, so the impact of gear tooth spacing error and accumulation of tooth distance error on rotation accuracy is more average, which can obtain extremely high position accuracy and rotation accuracy.
• Large transmission ratio: The transmission ratio of a single -stage harmonic gear transmission can reach i = 30 ~ 500, and the structure is simple. The three basic parts on the coaxial axis can achieve a high deceleration ratio.
• High carrying capacity: In the harmonic transmission, the meshing of the teeth and the teeth is the face contact, and the number of teeth at the same time is large, so the unit area load is small, and the loading capacity is higher than that of other transmission forms.
• Small volume and lightweight: Compared with ordinary gear devices, the volume and weight can be greatly reduced, achieving miniaturization and lightweight.
