High Hardness 17-4PH Stainless Steel Pipe / Hot Rolled Stainless Steel Pipe / SS Pipe
17-4PH is a martensitic precipitation hardening stainless steel. The performance characteristic of 17-4PH is that it is easy to adjust the strength level, which can be adjusted by changing the heat treatment process. 17-4PH has good attenuation performance, strong resistance to corrosion fatigue and water droplets. Features: After heat treatment, the mechanical properties of the product are more perfect, and can reach a compressive strength of up to 1100-1300 Mpa (160-190 ksi). This grade cannot be used at temperatures higher than 300°C (572°F) or very low temperatures. It has good corrosion resistance to the atmosphere and diluted acids or salts.
About Stainless Steel 17-4 PH Pipe and Tube
Despite such excellent characteristics, 17-4 Ph Pipes are unsuitable for working under extremely high or low temperatures. It means in cryogenic applications where the temperature is above 572 degrees, and these pipes are unsuitable.
