Hot Rolled Stainless Steel Strip: Semifinished product obtained from hot rolling of slabs or billets, produced for conversion by cold rolling.
Cold Rolled Stainless Steel Strip: Manufactured from hot rolled, annealed and pickled strip by cold rolling on polished rolls. Requires various passes through the mill to achieve desired thickness, surface characteristics, and mechanical properties.
