ASTM A240 405 Stainless Steel Sheet
Alloy 405 is a 12% chromium stainless steel specifically designed for use in the as-welded condition. Unlike other 12% chromium stainless grades, 405 does not undergo extensive hardening through air cooling from high temperatures, making it ideal for welded fabrications.
