Seamless Stainless Steel Pipe
Seamless stainless steel pipe is the tube made from stainless steel bar perforated and then cold rolled or cold drawn. Compared with welded stainless steel pipe, seamless pipe has a flat surface, uniform metallographic organization, and much higher corrosion resistance and pressure and high temperature resistance than welded pipe because there is no welded seam. However, the price of smls ss pipe is usually higher and the delivery time is slower than that of welded pipe.
Stainless steel seamless pipe is our strenght product, we are able to deliver it from ex-stock for small quantity. The material includes stainless steel 304/L, 316/L, 310S, 321, 317L, 347H, duplex 2205, 2507 etc.
The Manufacturing Process of SS SMLS Pipe
Cold Rolling and Cold Drawing
Cold Rolling is a preferred production process for high precision seamless tube. Most of our heat exchanger tubing and mechanical tube are made by cold rolling. This technique provides a high forming rate, narrow tolerances and good turnouts. Now the biggest diameter we can get is 168.3mm for this process.
Cold Drawing is the general process for our tube and pipe. Pipe&tubes from this process can be got a a very narrow tolerance ranges, and keep the chemical element well. Additionally, the cold drawing process is the perfect choice for situations which place high requirements on the quality of the surface structure.
