What is UNS S32654 Super Austenitic Stainless Steel?
Grade UNS S32654 stainless steel is a super austenitic stainless steel, contains 23% nickel, 25% chromium and 7% molybdenum.
Its corrosion resistance is comparable to that of the best nickel-based alloy. As the nitrogen content of S32654 is twice as high as S31254, its intensity is higher than 904L and S31254.
Grade UNS S32654 super austenitic stainless steel features very good local corrosion resistance, good pitting resistance and good stress corrosion resistance under seawater, aeration, gap and low speed scouring conditions. It can be used as a good substitute to nickel-based alloys and titanium alloys.
Grade UNS S32654 alloy is available in all standard mill forms including pipe, rod, bar, plate, sheet, strip and foil products.
