Hastelloy C276 is a high performance super alloy grade. A Hastelloy C276 Pipe is designed possessing an outstanding content of nickel, chromium, and molybdenum with other constituting alloys. The superior content gives these pipes enhanced corrosion and oxidation resistance properties. The Hastelloy C276 Tube can operate in standard temperatures of 1900 degrees F while showing superior resistance to crevice corrosion and pitting by acidic media in reducing environments. The low carbon content allows the C276 Tubing to be easily welded in place using standard procedures. The tubing has a minimum tensile strength of 690mpa with a minimum yield strength of 283mpa and can be readily elongated by 40%. The versatile grade is a common feature in chemical processing, marine engineering, pharmaceutical system, sour service system, pulp and paper productions, pollution control, etc.
The Hastelloy C276 Seamless Pipe is a high-strength piping grade in this range. Here the pipes are produced by passing hot steel billets through the extruded to shape it in precise dimensions. The pipes have enhanced load-bearing capacity compared to other pipe types in this grade. Hastelloy Pipe can be treated following different procedures.
