301 stainless steel strip is metastable austenitic stainless steel with a complete austenitic structure under sufficient solid solution conditions. In austenitic stainless steel, 301 is the easiest to cold deformation strengthening steel, cold deformation processing can make steel strength, hardness, and retain enough plastic, toughness, coupled with the steel has good rust resistance under atmospheric conditions, but in the reducing medium corrosion resistance is poor, in acid, alkali and salt chemical media corrosion resistance is poor, so it is not recommended for harsh corrosion environment. 301 is mainly used in cold working state to withstand high load, but it also want to reduce the weight of equipment and rust-free equipment parts. In addition, the steel is easy to produce work hardening when impacted by external forces and can absorb more impact energy, which will provide more reliable security for equipment and personnel.
