Stainless Steel Rebar is another name for reinforced deformed steel bar for concrete reinforcement. Stainless steel is a class of ferrous alloys that contain at least 11% chromium, a composition that keeps the iron from rusting and provides heat resistance. Carbon (from 0.03% to greater than 1.00%), nitrogen, aluminum, silicon, sulfur, titanium, nickel, copper, selenium, niobium, and molybdenum are all elements found in stainless steel.This type of steel bar typically has a vertical rib and a transverse rib on the surface, with the vertical rib taking the form of a spiral, crescent, or herringbone.
