Cold Rolled 301 Stainless Steel Strip with Bright Surface and Width 10-2000mm for Industrial Applications
301 stainless steel is available in strip and wire forms with tensile strength up to 1800 MPa, offering tempers ranging from 1/16 Hard to Full Hard. This grade maintains sufficient ductility even in ½ hard conditions, making it suitable for aircraft components, rail car parts, and architectural structures.

301L: Low carbon version ideal for applications requiring good ductility, specified in JIS G4305.
301LN: Contains higher nitrogen content with increased work hardening rate, specified in EN10088-2 as grade 1.4318.

Similar to 304 stainless steel, grade 301 offers good resistance to corrosion in mildly corrosive environments at ambient temperatures.
Exhibits good oxidation resistance for intermittent service up to 840°C and continuous service up to 900°C.
Solution treatment annealing at 1010°C to 1120°C followed by rapid cooling. Thermal hardening is not suitable for this grade.
High work hardening rate (14MPa increase per 1% reduction in area). Achieves high strength through cold rolling and roll forming. Non-magnetic when annealed, becomes magnetic when cold worked.
Suitable for all standard welding methods. Grade 308L recommended as filler metal. Annealing required after welding for maximum corrosion resistance (not necessary for 301L and 301LN).
