Heat Treatment Processes
Hardening & Tempering
  • Heat uniformly to 850°C
  • Quench in oil

  • Cool slowly to 550°C
  • Complete annealing in air
Normalizing
  • Heat to 850°C
  • Cool to room temperature in air
