20NCD2 is a hardenable chromium, molybdenum, nickel low alloy steel specifically designed for carburizing applications to develop case-hardened components with excellent wear characteristics.
Typical Applications
Gears, shafts, bearings, piston rings, ring gears, crankshafts, and other components requiring a hard carburized case with a tough core. Widely used in transmission systems, tractor motors, and automotive applications.
