En10130 DC01 1.5mm Cold Rolled Steel Strip
Cold-rolled steel sheet, also known as cold-rolled plate or cold plate, is manufactured from hot-rolled carbon structural steel strips through further cold rolling to achieve thicknesses below 4mm. The cold rolling process at room temperature prevents iron oxide formation, resulting in superior surface quality and precise dimensional accuracy. Combined with annealing treatment, cold-rolled steel offers enhanced mechanical and technological properties compared to hot-rolled steel, making it ideal for various applications, particularly in household appliance manufacturing where it has largely replaced hot-rolled steel sheets.
