The 8440-1706 model is outfitted with the capability to provide units with a combined synchronizing ability for a circuit breaker, power factor and

load factor control, and the option for isochronous load sharing and generator protection. The 8440-1706 unit is also built with a choice for

operators to implement while the generator voltage matching is occuring; either the phase matching can also occur, or the slip frequency

synchronization can be enabled. The mains parallel operating features the 8440-1706 is included with is a wide range of features. There is the

real power control, the true RMS power calculation, as well as the soft unload feature, and the power factor control and setpoint by the adjusted

parameters. This unit is also outfitted with isolated operation control features and dead bus operation features.
