The GD-25-11A/14A Hydrophone is a high output, pressure sensitive detector for use in swamps, rivers, bans and transition zones.
The GD-25-11A/14A Hydrophone is transformer-coupled and piezoelectric crystals connected in an acceleration-canceling arrangement with each crystal operating in the high sensitivity bender mode. The crystals and transformer are permanently molded in a durable polyurethane case. This hydrophone is an entirely moulded polyurethane unit that eliminates water leakage and also prevents water from migrating down the cable into the body of the hydrophone.
This sealed unit has a thermoplastic resin outer case with easy access ports for polarity testing.
The red out case protect this hydrophone in the water.
