Monochloroacetic Acid is mainly used in manufacturing a variety of products including carboxymethyl cellulose, herbicides, pharmaceuticals,dyes,cosmetics,plastic stabilizers,anesthetics,tranquilizers and amphoteric surfactants as one of the fine chemical intermediates.
