Advantages and application fields of H1Z2Z2-K photovoltaic cable
Our photovoltaic (PV) cables are used to interconnect power sources in renewable energy photovoltaic systems, such as solar panel arrays in solar farms. These solar panel cables are suitable for fixed installation inside and outside as well as in conduit or systems. Their strong sheath and impact testing means they are specified for direct burial.
Manufactured in accordance with the latest European standard EN 50618, these solar DC cables are collectively named H1Z2Z2-K and are designated cables for use in photovoltaic (PV) systems, especially for installation between nominal DC conductors on the direct current (DC) side And the voltage between the conductor and the ground does not exceed 1.5kV, and does not exceed 1800V. EN 50618 requires cables to be LSZH and have flexible tinned copper conductors with single core cross-linked insulation and sheath. Cables need to be tested at 11kV AC 50Hz and have an operating temperature range of -40 o C to +90 o C. The H1Z2Z2-K replaces the previous TV approved PV1-F cable.
The compounds used in the insulation and outer sheath of these solar cables are halogen-free and cross-linked, so these cables are called "cross-linked solar cables". The EN50618 standard sheath has thicker walls than the PV1-F cable version. The cable sheath is rated AD8 waterproof.
Like TV PV1-F cables, EN50618 cables benefit from double insulation for increased safety. Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) insulation and jacketing make it suitable for use in environments where corrosive fumes can pose a threat to human life in the event of a fire.
Photovoltaic cables, also known as photovoltaic special cables, are mainly used in photovoltaic power stations. They have the advantages of high temperature resistance, cold resistance, oil resistance, acid and alkali resistance, UV protection, flame retardant and environmental protection, and long service life. They are mainly used in harsh climate conditions. The service life is more than 25 years, and its characteristics are determined by its special insulation material and sheath material for cables. We call it cross-linked PE.
