System Time The Set/Synchronize Network Time application determines the date and time for the DeltaV system. A single workstation called the master time node keeps time for the entire system and broadcasts the time to the other nodes. The ProfessionalPLUS workstation is the master time node by default.
 
You use the DeltaV Explorer to:
 
 Set and synchronize the system time
 Define another workstation as the master time node
 To set/synchronize the system time
 
1. Click Tools | Set/Synchronize Network Time.
 
2. Specify the new time and date.
 
3. Click Apply to send the time and date changes to the master time node, which broadcasts the time to all nodes on the Control Network.
 
4. Click Close to close the dialog box without changing the time
