Product Description and Application
Monel K-500 is also known as UNS N05500
Monel K-500 alloy has comparable corrosion resistance to Monel 400, but has higher mechanical strength and hardness. It has good heat resistance and long-term structure stability. It is mainly used in the manufacture of turbine blades and gas turbine blades with operating temperature below 750℃ on aeroengines. It is also used for making fasteners and springs on ships, Pump and valve parts on chemical equipment, pulp blade on paper making equipment and etc.
