Monel 404 is also known as UNS N04404
Monel 404 alloy is a single-phase solid solution Ni-Cu alloy, which has good corrosion resistance in many medium. From mild oxidizing medium environment to neutral environment,or to suitable reducing environment, that has good corrosion resistance, mainly used in chemistry and petrochemical industry, Marine development and etc fields. It can be used to manufacture all kinds of heat exchange equipment, boiler feed water heaters, petroleum and chemical pipelines, containers, towers, tanks, valves, pumps, reaction kettle, shaft and etc.
