GH5188 is also known as UNS R30188, UNS R30188, Hastelloy188 , Haynes188,W.N.2.4683
GH5188 is a kind of solid solution strengthened cobalt based superalloy. Add 14% tungsten solid solution strengthening then the alloy has excellent high temperature thermal strength. Add the high chromium and trace blue, then the alloy has good high temperature oxidation resistance and satisfactory forming, welding and etc technological properties. It is suitable for the manufacture of aeroengine parts with high strength under 980℃ and oxidation resistance under 1100℃ . It can also be used in space engines and space shuttles.
