The pulse oximeter sensor (spo2 sensor) was originally developed by Japanese engineers Michio Kishi and Takuo Aoyagi. It is a small non-invasive device that is installed on a person's finger or other accessories to measure oxygen saturation (SpO2) and heart rate.
These spo2 sensors determine how efficiently the blood carries oxygen through the body. Pulse oximeter sensors(spo2 sensor) have different changes. They are attached to fingers, ears or toes, while in veterinary applications they are attached to the tongue.
