Troubleshooting & FAQs
Amplifier board has current sound and noise during use
Most amplifier boards using DC power supply do not produce current sound and noise. Main causes:
- Poor power supply filtering or incorrect power/audio input
- Poor input signal quality or abnormal audio source input
- Poor quality input cables, poor connections, damaged wiring, or suspended wiring
- Other playback devices in input connection or shared power supply causing noise
No sound output or no sound in one channel
- Speaker damage or poor speaker cable connection
- Poor input cable connection, damaged wiring, or improper output from connected device
Volume broken and breaking sound when turned loud
- Insufficient power input - confirm correct wiring and adequate supply current
- Poor speaker performance or damage, speaker power too small or too large
- Left and right channel speakers (+) (-) outputs are independent and cannot be connected to each other
Speaker broken sound when subwoofer amplifier volume turned loud
- Insufficient power input - confirm correct wiring and adequate supply current
- Speaker power too large or too small, poor bass performance, or speaker box structure abnormalities
Volume power not enough
Power is related to power supply voltage, sound source signal amplitude, and speaker impedance size. Any deficiency will affect power output.
Will the amplifier be burnt?
- Power supply positive/negative poles connected reversely
- Power supply voltage too high, exceeding board's limit operating voltage
- Connecting AC transformer power supply directly (must be rectified to DC first)
- Incorrect wiring or short circuits causing damage to key components
