The horizontal spiral sedimentation centrifuge, also known as horizontal screw centrifuge, is a continuous operation centrifugal separation and dehydration equipment featuring horizontal spiral discharge mechanism.

This centrifuge is suitable for dewatering sludge from industrial and civil sewage treatment, and widely used across chemical, light industry, food processing, and environmental protection industries.
The drum and spiral rotate at high speed in the same direction. Material enters through the feeding tube into the conveying screw inner cylinder, then accelerates into the rotating drum. Under centrifugal force, heavier solid phases deposit on the drum wall forming a sediment layer. The conveying screw continuously pushes solids to the cone end for discharge, while lighter liquid phases form an inner liquid ring that overflows from the drum end. Continuous feeding, separation, washing, and discharge operations occur at full speed.
