Fully Automatic Large Capacity Decanter Centrifuge
This horizontal spiral sedimentation centrifuge is a continuous operation, high-efficiency centrifugal separation and dehydration equipment designed for industrial applications.
Structure and Principle
Horizontal screw centrifuges are categorized as either horizontal spiral filter centrifuges or horizontal spiral sedimentation centrifuges. They are widely used for dewatering sludge in industrial and municipal wastewater treatment, as well as in chemical, food processing, environmental protection, and other industries.
Working Principle
The drum and spiral rotate at high speed in the same direction. Material enters through the feeding tube into the conveying screw inner cylinder, then accelerates into the rotating drum. Under centrifugal force, heavier solid phases form a sediment layer on the drum wall while the spiral continuously pushes solids to the discharge port. Lighter liquid phases form an inner liquid ring that overflows through the liquid discharge port. This enables continuous feeding, separation, washing, and discharge at full operating speed.
