Applications:

The sintered oil-impregnated bearing produces a pump action through the rotation of the shaft during operation, and sucks out the oil inside the bearing. The oil wedge created by the oil lifts the shaft from the bearing so that it acts in a direction that prevents metal-to-metal contact. In addition, the oil expands due to frictional heat and seeps into the sliding surface of the bearing to perform both lubricating and cooling functions.
In the static state, the oil on the sliding surface of the bearing is sucked into the bearing air hole again by the capillary force.
