Introduction

Vacuum cooler or vacuum cooling machine is a cooling processing equipment that uses vacuum pre-cooling technology and uses vacuum pump to extract air and water vapor in the vacuum tank to reduce the air pressure in the vacuum chamber. Under low pressure, the boiling point of water decreases, the latent heat of evaporation increases, and the free water on the surface of the cooled object vaporizes, taking away the heat of itself and the environment to achieve the cooling effect.



Why Mushrooms need to be pre-chilled/pre-cooled

 

After harvesting, mushrooms produce a large amount of respiratory heat, and the mushrooms are heavily hydrated. Surface bacteria become more active under the influence of heat in a humid environment, and bacteria are the main culprit causing mushroom decay. High levels of respiratory heat accelerate the aging process of mushrooms, leading to accelerated opening and discoloration, seriously affecting the quality of mushrooms. After picking mushrooms, it is necessary to quickly remove "respiratory heat". The vacuum pre cooling method significantly extends the shelf life of the product, and compared to traditional cooling technology, vacuum pre cooling is more efficient and energy-saving.

 


 

Procedure to precool oyster mushrooms:

 

1. Quickly achieve internal cooling within 30 minutes after picking.

 

2. Stop breathing heat and stop growing and aging.

 

3. Vacuum return gas sterilization.

 

4. Turn on the evaporation function to evaporate the surface water of the mushroom completely, preventing bacteria from having survival conditions.

 

5. Vacuum pre cooling naturally forms wounds and pore contraction, achieving water locking function. Keep the mushrooms fresh and tender.

 

6. Transfer to a preservation warehouse and store it under conditions below 6 degrees Celsius.

  • Most edible mushrooms can be pre-chilled.

 

2.How long does it take to pre-cool mushrooms?

  • Because of the loose structure inside the mushroom, the pre-cooling time of the mushroom is about 20 minutes. The pre-cooling time of different mushrooms will be different.

 

3.Can the vacuum cooler be placed in the packing room?  

  • Yes, the cooler can be splited, the vacuum chamber indoor+cooling system outdoor. If there is good air flow inside the room, the whole machine can be placed indoor.

 

4.How to install the vacuum cooler?
