Introduction:

  • XP-2 ASTM D2843 Building Products Smoke Density Chamber is designed and manufactured in accordance with ASTM D2843 standard, it is mainly for building products testing.

  • By detecting the loss of light transmission in test chamber, it can measure smoke density of burning and decomposition of building material during the test.

Features:

  • The test chamber is Teflon coating, to resist the corrosion of smoke released during burning.

  • The light source is an incandescent lamp, and the photoelectric sensor is a silicon photodiode, which has a cosine calibration function.

  • Color filter is equipped to filter out ultraviolet light and infrared light.

  • The gas pressure of the main burner is 256KPA, it is subjected to flame impact on the test specimen.

  • The gas pressure of the auxiliary burner is 138KPA, it can continue to burn the molten droplets.

  • The computer and test software are equipped.
