Theory
The excavator swing motor is one of the important components in the excavator. Its function is to control the rotational movement of the excavator. Specifically, the excavator swing motor drives the swing gear or swing gear ring to enable the upper part of the excavator (including the cab, engine, hydraulic system, etc.) to rotate on the chassis.
The excavator swing motor is usually powered by a hydraulic system. The hydraulic system controls the swing motor through the flow and pressure transmission of oil. The hydraulic pump sends hydraulic oil into the swing motor to generate a high-pressure oil flow, which drives the internal piston or gear assembly of the swing motor to rotate. The gear transmission or piston push mechanism inside the swing motor converts hydraulic energy into mechanical energy, so that the upper part of the excavator can rotate.
