Theory
The main function of the excavator fan pump is to provide cooling for the excavator engine. When the excavator is working, the engine will generate a lot of heat. If the heat is not dissipated in time, it will cause the engine to overheat, thus affecting its performance and life. The following are several important functions of the excavator fan pump:
1. Heat dissipation and cooling: The fan pump generates airflow by rotating the fan, introducing the surrounding cold air into the engine area, and taking away the heat generated by the engine. This helps maintain the engine's normal operating temperature range and prevent overheating.
2. Coolant circulation: The fan pump of the excavator usually also contains a water pump, which is used to draw coolant (usually a mixture of water and coolant) from the engine cooling system and send it to the fan. The coolant dissipates heat when it comes into contact with the air and is then circulated back to the engine, continuing to reduce engine temperature.
