Zero spangle Galvanized Steel Sheet in Coils Introductions

Zero Spangle Galvanized Steel : In hot dip galvanising, only a certain amount of aluminium is added to the zinc solution and no lead-free, antimony or tin is added to produce a non-bright product.

Hot-dip galvanised steel coil (GI) is made by passing a fully hardened steel sheet, which has undergone a pickling and rolling process, through a zinc pot, thereby coating the surface with a zinc film. Due to the properties of zinc, it offers excellent corrosion resistance, paintability and workability. Typically, the process and specifications for hot-dip galvanised steel sheet and galvanised steel coil are essentially the same.

Galvanised steel coil applications:

Galvanised steel coils are used in a wide range of applications and have the advantage of a long corrosion protection period. It is mainly used as a building and substrate for household appliances, office panels, roof panels, automotive panels, and pre-painted steel coils.

Automotive Steel Sheet

To use automotive steel plates must first be stamped and formed, where the plates are stamped into parts of the desired shape and size.

Spot welding, as an important welding method for joining thin plates, has a wide range of applications in manufacturing, especially in the automotive industry.

Galvanised Roof Sheet

The performance requirements for galvanised roof sheets mainly include the mechanical properties of the material (tensile strength, yield strength, elongation), coating properties (coating type, coating thickness and coating adhesion).

Household Office Galvanised Sheet

Including air conditioners, washing machines, refrigerators, photocopiers, etc. Household galvanised sheet is mainly used for general forming applications and stamping.

PrePainted Steel Base Metal Substrates

Another use for galvanised steel coils is as a substrate for pre-painted steel coils. Pre-painted steel coils are more durable than galvanised coils as they have a polyethylene coating.

The annual design capacity of galvanised sheet in the first phase 1450mm series production line is 300,000 tonnes. The project was constructed with the participation of China Steel Research Institute and other leading construction and design units in China. In view of the demand for plates for the household appliance industry, it has specially developed the grades for use in household appliance plates, and on the basis of the original production, through the adjustment of the composition of zinc liquid, the parameters of the air knife, the parameters of the finishing machine, as well as the improvement of the three-roll and six-arm equipment, it has made the quality of non-blooming galvanised plates to meet the demand for household appliance plates in the market.

The zinc layer of hot-dip galvanised steel sheet without zinc flower is even and firm, which is conducive to coating, strong corrosion resistance, and a smoother and more beautiful surface.

There are zinc flower steel plate coating prone to intergranular corrosion, its corrosion resistance is not as good as the zinc flower steel plate. Zinc flowers caused by the surface of the steel plate unevenness in the paint is still clearly visible, the addition of lead and antimony in the zinc solution makes the zinc layer of heavy metal content is high, not conducive to environmental protection.
