The hot-dip galvanised steel strip substrate and the molten coating solution undergo a complex physical and chemical reaction to form a corrosion-resistant structure consisting of a narrow layer of zinc and iron alloy. The alloy layer is bonded to the pure zinc layer and the steel strip substrate. As a result, corrosion resistance is very high.
