What is active balancing (lossless balancing)

Active balancing transfers energy from cells with higher energy to cells with lower energy, achieving voltage and current balance with minimal energy loss.

Whether in charging, discharging or idle state, it will continue to work until the voltage difference is within the set range. Since it involves energy transfer without generating heat, active balancing can use a larger current (usually 1-2A) without affecting cooling. Due to the longer balancing time and larger current, it is more suitable for larger capacity battery packs.

Active balancing current: 0.4-2A, maximum charging current: 100A-300A, maximum discharge current: 100A-300A
