MTL5516C Switch/Proximity Detector Interface
The MTL5516C enables two safe-area loads to be controlled by switches or proximity detectors located in hazardous areas. This safety barrier interface features line-fault detection (LFD) that monitors field wiring for open or short circuit conditions, with status indicated on the module. Phase reversal for each channel is selectable via side switches, with output provided by changeover relay contacts.
