UNS N02200 Nickel Alloy 200 Seamless Round Bars & Pipes
Alloy 200 is a commercially pure wrought nickel with maximum 0.15% carbon content, offering exceptional ductility across wide temperature ranges and superior corrosion resistance in neutral to moderately reducing environments.
Key Characteristics
- High thermal and electrical conductivity compared to nickel-base alloys and stainless steels
- Ferromagnetic properties with excellent mechanical characteristics
- Maximum service temperature: 600°F (316°C) - avoid prolonged exposure above 800°F
- Superior resistance to seawater, steam, and rapidly flowing brackish water
- Excellent stress corrosion cracking resistance in most freshwater environments
- Particularly resistant to de-aerated hydrochloric and hydrofluoric acids
- Good resistance to neutral and alkaline salts
